Celebrities go through heartache and relationships just like the rest of us do. Believe it or not, many of them have great dating and love advice that has helped them through their ups and downs. Glamour Magazine UK have compiled a large list of celebrity quotes and below I have picked the best five that I believe will be helpful throughout the stages of dating and also helpful when you are in a committed relationship.

Will Smith: ‘You can be yourselves around each other, 100% of the time.’
There is no need to be fake around the person you love and want to be with. Sooner or later they will see your true colours and your relationship will not last.

Beyonce: ‘Be proud of who you are before you can share that with someone else.’
Loving yourself before loving someone else is one of my cardinal rules. Don’t try and love someone without taking the time to care for yourself.

Ashton Kutcher: ‘Guys like to be told they look nice, pretty or cute or that they clean up well.’
We all think that girls are the only ones that want a compliment, but we were wrong. Coming from a male himself, they like to be noticed and given attention just as women do. A compliment here and there will not only boost his ego but also show that you care about him.

Channing Tatum: ‘To make it work you have to pay attention.’
Paying attention to your partner is important. If they are sick, do what you can to make them feel better or help them with chores around the house. Even just making a cup of tea will make a big difference.

Julia Roberts: ‘You know its love when all you want is that person to be happy, even if you are not part of their happiness.’
Wanting your partner to always be happy shows how much you love them. Sometimes a relationship does not work out and you are better off without each other. If you can still be amicable and be happy for them, then you truly did love them and care for them while you were in the relationship.
