Yes, life can throw us curve balls. We just need to duck and work around them when this happens. Sometimes the universe has to mess things up to the extreme, in order for the good to come into your life. This happens in relationships. Whether or not you believe that there are
"plenty of fish in the sea" or not is entirely up to you and your belief systems. One things for sure; regardless as to whether or not you've met your childhood sweetheart and enjoyed a debut, successful marriage; there will be occasions where a few frogs and teachers (disguised as the one, if not the one for now) come in before the charming prince and stayer arrives - whenever that will be.
Only God can call this. God is wonderful, yet God has been around for way longer than we have in this lifetime. God is old. Old people make decisions slowly. Whether it takes a week, a month, a year, or even ten years for your soulmate to arrive - you need to just relax and allow for this to happen.
Be you. Don't think about and become too attached to anything. I've learnt this golden rule in business. When I first became a freelance writer (now editor) before becoming a doctor among other things; I used to check my writer stats twice daily, if not more. Nothing much have changed. On the other hand, I now check the stats less often - or even better I completely detach and go away for the weekend and don't check my stats at all...and yes bingo, by doing this my readership has increased. Nothing has changed. My writing hasn't changed, just my approach to this has.
I've detached.
Same goes for finding your ideal mate. Place your order (like a catalogue) with the universe for your mate to arrive. Then let go, and just be happy. Engage in positive, life force raising activities that you love doing. When you get out and do that, your new partner will walk into your life unexpectedly...on a whim.
No different for a couple that is trying to conceive. They try IVF...everything, and nothing appears to be working. When they stop, and bingo guess what: someone's pregnant! No different to finding the love that you deserve.
Love cooking? Good. Enrol in a cooking class/workshop, and just give yourself permission to have fun. Who knows, Mr or Mrs right might be there too. Common interests, bingo!
Love ice skating? Good, get out and go on the ice rink. You're getting the drift. Live your life. Work hard and save your dough so you can spoil that someone rotten when they come into your life. Cheers.
