Apart from the you know what, there are an abundance of quality ways to celebrate Valentine's Day with your partner. It is all about thinking outside the square, and all for free too.

To begin with, mother nature has us in love for a reason. For this, mother nature has created parks for all of us to enjoy. There is something about a park that makes you want to pash your partner after lunch or a coffee together. Holding hands is the ultimate, a true sign of affection that your partner admires you. They're interested in you. February the 14th is perfect for this.

Exercise together. If your partner loves to walk and/or run, and you like doing this simultaneously; then go ahead and get fit together. Jog around a walking trail. If bike riding is preferred, then go ahead and get the mountain bikes out and go for it.

If you happen to be living in Sydney, Darling Harbour's Month of Love is for you. At night, Darling Quarter will be come to some luminous love displays. Fireworks and love songs on Pyrmont Bridge anyone?

Giving your partner some pampering at home also comes for free. Massages are beautiful all round, yet there is something sensual about them on Valentine's Day.

Just that quality time together is free. Need I say more?

To everyone who is attached to someone, Happy Valentine's Day. For those who are single, all is not lost. You can still enjoy some self cafe on this special day. Remember, you must love yourself before you can love others.
