Hints and tips for writers at Truly Heart.

A basic digital camera is all you need. I got mine second hand from an online auction site - $30. Modern phones and tablets have the ability to take pics that look fine online.

It is not really too hard to think of things to photograph, you just need to think creatively.

As Truly Heart is about romance, etc - get in the 'zone' and look about your home for image ideas. Here are some to get you started.


His & Hers
Shoes
Jewellry
Shavers / generic toiletries / perfume,aftershave bottles etc.
Tools
Accessories - scarves, ties
Cosmetics - lipstick, eyeshadow etc

Objects
One or two wine glasses
A beer glass and a wine glass
'Manly' pen and 'dainty' pen


How could you mix and match and then place these objects to match your article?

two wine glasses - one lying down
a lipstick kiss on a collar or envelope
picture frame laying face down
high heels on the inside doorstep, work boots on the outside doorstep
box of tissues next to a phone

We are fine with you guys sourcing images on the Internet (royalty free where source is cited), however it is better for Google search engine rank purposes if you can take your own with a camera. Counts as a original image that way.
