I am in control,
Breathe deep, breathe steady,
I am over him,
To move on, I am ready.

A fleeting memory,
Tears trickle down my face,
Who am I kidding?
I still long for his warm embrace.

I hardly knew him,
I really shouldn't care,
Focus on the future,
There are lots of guys out there.

Try to be logical,
Mustn't let heart rule my mind,
Forget him, think of
Other nice guys I might find.

Still sadness rules, tears flow,
I recall his gentle touch,
His arms around me,
These are things I miss so much.
