Hints and tips for writers at Truly Heart.

Finding images for conceptual articles can be tricky. Public domain images can be used without attribution or without citing them.




Use downtime to search for images for future articles. Use images as inspiration. Pixabay is a great place to get them - when you are starting out on your writing journey.

The following is true for the type of articles we have here at Truly Heart:


Standard Criteria
People and brand images are not to be used in a way that the subjects look bad. You could not use an image of a person if the article is about an absolute slapper.
Images cannot be associated with articles on pornography or illegal / immoral writings.
You cannot (claim) say the images are yours.

Pixabay says in its terms a link back would be nice, but not mandatory.
