Quotes About Romantic Love
I saw this cute pic of a frog holding a heart and decided I wanted to use it as an image for an article. I did an internet search and came up with six quotes about romantic love to use. When I checked the identity of each person I found five of the six were film stars. I don't know if that means many film stars are romantics or if they are simply quoted more often than people with other jobs. I decided to use the quotes from film stars and add more frog-love-heart images.

Some people seem to be real romantics, enjoying nothing better than a movie with a love story theme. Jennifer Love Hewitt admitted this when she said, "I'm a hopeless romantic. It's disgusting. It really is. I've seen 'While You Were Sleeping,' like, twenty times, and I still believe in the whole prince Charming thing."

Now and then I enjoy a romantic movie. I recall going to see
Love Story at the cinema back in the seventies. The thing I remember most is that I had forgotten to take tissues or a hanky with me. How stupid was that?
I knew if I let myself start crying I would be in a real mess so I forced myself to concentrate on how funny it was to hear so many people around me taking a big gulp at the same time whenever there was a particularly touching moment. I knew the tears were flowing after that collective gulp. Then there was the sound of dozens of people blowing their noses or sniffing.
By the way, I have always remembered to pack tissues when heading off to see a movie that could move me to tears.
Another film star, Jennifer Lopez, says, 'You know, maybe I was just born in the wrong time, but I love all things romantic. Puffy understands that. For my last birthday, he covered my hotel room floor with rose petals and had flowers and candles all over the room.'
Flowers and candles are symbolic of romance. Red roses are traditionally used to show romantic love.

American actor, Will Estes says, I'm into all that sappy stuff- a surprise picnic, nice dinner, or traveling. I'm kind of an old romantic.'
There can be something so romantic about food whether it be a picnic, dining out, a special meal cooked by someone who loves you or a box of chocolates. There are foods said to be aphrodisiacs. Sharing food can be a way of expressing love and couples often remember special occasions which centred on food.

Another American actor, Benjamin Bratt, said, 'Building a little bonfire at night on the beach and lying on a blanket with my wife under the stars is not only sexy, it's romantic'.
There is something special, often romantic about a campfire, anywhere. The beach can be a romantic setting so put the two together and yes, you have the makings of a romantic and memorable evening.

Thinking back to great love stories and movies, many enjoy a happy ending. And what happier ending can there be to a story full of trials and tribulations than for two people to get together romantically, at last?
Shane Carruth, American actor, film writer and director says, 'I love the concept of the romance that exists when people are broken. Like, the promise of a romance when you're at the bottom. I think that's infinitely compelling and romantic,'

It's a pity that we tend to read a great deal about the end of romantic love in relation to film stars. Open any magazine that covers famous people of current times and there are stories of what happens when love falls apart. It is nice to read romantic quotes from some film stars to add some balance.
