How He Deals With A Break Up

Males have to deal with separation, loneliness and change in their life just like females do when they go through a break up. Although they may deal with it differently such as masking their emotions, men still have to deal with the reality of a break up. Like females, some men may be emotional finding this the best way to cope, however, many have a different approach.

Males like to keep busy during this time and they may spend a ridiculous amount of time at the gym. This allows them to let out any frustrations and concentrate on looking and feeling good rather than thinking about being alone.

Conversely, males may decide to do the complete opposite by hibernating and eating. Males find this the easiest option to avoid talking about the break up and help them move on in the way they feel is fit.

What better way to get over a break up than inviting mates over to kick back and do manly things. Whether it is playing video games, watching the footy or playing pool, these are all activities that a male may not have been able to do on a regular basis when they were in a relationship. This also helps men feel that they have control in their life to do what they want once again.

Many males want to be with their mates but do not like the option of staying home. Instead they head out to the clubs and bars to have a change of scenery. This is always a great option to build up their self esteem and get out to meet new people once again.

Some males want to do something out of the ordinary such as grow a beard. Many girls (including myself) do not like the Ned Kelly beard, so this may be the time for them to do what they always wanted to do. Again, this may give them the feeling of being free and happy with making decisions that make them content.

Whatever a guy chooses to do after a break up, you need to let them deal with it in their own way as it can be a big change in their life. There is no one way a male may grieve but it can be quite different to a female.
