Finding the right man to spend the rest of your life with is not as easy as people may think. Even if you are head over heels, it is important that he feels the same way about you. You must always remember that it takes two to tango not one, hence be aware of the signs that suggest that he may not be the man for you.
Hard To Get In Touch With
Wanting to spend every minute of the day together is a sign that he wants to be with you. If he always has an excuse as to why he can't see you or can't talk to you, think twice about the relationship.
His Way Or The Highway
Do you feel that he rules you? Do you feel that you cannot breathe or do the things you want to do? A relationship should not feel like you are in jail. Being controlled is not how you should live your life. There needs to be trust and freedom within the relationship.
Different Long Term Goals
Do you want to get married and have children but your partner does not have the same life goal? Does he want to avoid marriage so he does not have to be a grow up? You both need to be on the same page for your relationship to work. If you do not want the same things then your relationship will not work as one of you will always be disappointed.
You Can't Be Yourself Around Him
Being yourself around him is important. If you avoid this just to make him like you, then think twice about the relationship. Being fake cannot last forever. Sooner or later he will see the real you and your flaws, hence, it is important that you show your true self. If you feel that you can never show him this, you are only cheating yourself.
He Doesn't Say I Love You
'I Love You' is a powerful phrase and definitely one that is said when feelings are strong. You should not expect your partner to say these words within the first few months of the relationship, however you cannot wait forever. Without hearing these words you may begin to wonder where the relationship is going.
Your Fights Are Not Your Average Fights
Fighting is apart of every relationship, but, when it begins to be constant it is not healthy. When it starts to get abusive, whether it is physical or mental, you know it's time to get out before it is too late. Being a victim of domestic violence is not how one should live their life. Yes you may be scared to leave, but once you do you will be much more happier.
A relationship should never be hard work, instead you should always work together to make it work. When it starts becoming a chore and you begin see the signs that one may not share the same feelings, then it is time to question whether you want to stay or go.
