Valentines Day

You give or receive flowers, letters and freshly delivered chocolates. Also perhaps some expensive stuff that we mistake as real effort, even though we did not see the one who gave it. Yuhoo. There’s the one who had the guts to buy flowers and have it delivered by a stranger, however, the only thing that the other person yearns to have is you; to see your eyes and have a peek inside your soul. All we really want is to sit down and talk with the ones we love.

The much known Valentine’s Day is not just about a couples displays of affection. Don’t just stay in your room and think about your very own Independence Day. Go ask your Dad to go hiking; your Mum and Sis on a date; or fetch your girlfriends and have your Mum teach you how to bake. And how about dating God? Let’s go crazier this time. You go buy yourself some flowers and put them in your room. Pamper yourself with your “me” time. Love is universal; it has no boundaries, and is truly irrevocable as time.
