With the nightlife scene being one of the most popular ways to meet singles and a potential soul mate, it is important to remember that there are so many other places you can meet singles. The nightlife scene is not for everyone which means that some may opt to search other avenues to meet singles. Surprisingly, there are so many places that we visit in our everyday lives that one can meet a soul mate.

Café
Once you order your coffee, take a seat next to a cute guy or girl you spot. Ask them for the Wi-Fi password to start up a conversation; you never know where that can lead to.

The Gym
You will definitely meet a person that cares about their appearance and their health. Lots of singles head to the gym after work or during the day usually because they have no commitments such as a girlfriend or boyfriend. Get that girl or guys attention by asking them to show you how to use one of the machines or by asking them to spot for you. This may be the start of something, not only a gym buddy.



Supermarket
Approaching someone at a supermarket may be difficult as it is a place where everyone is always moving. A great time to talk to someone at a supermarket is when you are waiting in line to pay. Why not ask them about a product they have bought or ask them for a recipe. Chances are that they also live in the neighbourhood, which is a bonus. If you see them again, always give them a friendly smile or even say hello. Once you see them on a regular basis it is much easier to speak to them and maybe ask them on a date.

We are all like to have fun in the sun and catch some waves. Go to a populated area of the beach as it gives you the opportunity to choose who want to sit near. Playing some team sports such as beach volleyball will also allow you to socialise and meet singles.

If you have a dog go to a busy park where lots of people hang out. In an ideal world, your dog will start playing with someone else's dog which will allow you to start up a conversation but this doesn't always happen. Don't be afraid to go to a wedding or party alone. This will make other guests aware that you are single which will give them the opportunity to come up to you without feeling intimidated. It also works the other way; if you see someone who has come to a wedding on their own it will allow you to have more confidence to speak to them.
